2010 Lewis Family Vineyard Riesling $15
Yakima Valley

Dry Riesling is one of our favorite wines.  The 2010 from Lewis Family Vineyard outside Prosser is mineral driven with aroma’s of wet slate, fresh peaches and Fuji apples.  The palate shows great acidity with slight hints of sweetness and a wonderful long finish.  This wine’s best attribute many be that it will go with so many foods.  Pair this with seafood, including salmon and oysters.  It will also be wonderful with chicken and Asian dishes.

2010 Cabernet Franc Rose’ $15
ColumbiaValley

Inspired by the great dry rose’s of Southern France.  This Cabernet Franc Rose from Stone Ridge Vineyard shows mineral-driven aromas of strawberries, orange zest and light spring flowers.  It pairs wonderfully with soft cheeses, chicken and most of all grilled salmon.  That being said the best pairing maybe a hot summer day and a book on your deck or patio.

2008 Le Flirt $21

Yakima Valley

The goal of this blend is to create a wine that shows off the sexy fruit character of Washington Merlot. Hints of oak and a good splash of Malbec and Cabernet Franc make this a provocative “flirty” wine. It is a blend of 76% Merlot from Snipes Canyon Ranch and Alder Ridge Vineyards, 12% Malbec from Snipes Canyon Ranch, and 12% Cabernet Franc from Alder Ridge Vineyards.  The wine was aged in 25% new French Oak barrels. 200 Cases produced.

*Winemaker Notes* Wonderful ruby color. The wine opens with dusty plum, cherry and rose petal aromas. The palate is thick with coatings of red fruits, hints of oak and ample well rounded tannins that when intertwined with the acidity, give a long smooth finish.

2008 Le Monstre $21
Columbia Valley

The 2008 Le Monstre is composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc. It was aged for 20 months in 50% new French oak. Purple/black in color, it displays a nose of viloets, cedar, black currant, and blackberry. On the palate it is structured but not in an offensive way. There is plenty of material here so this should drink well for the next 8 to 10 years.

2008 Syrah $21

Columbia Valley
This is our first try at syrah so what did we do we selected two great syrah sites to start. Lewis Family and Alder Ridge Vineyards. Give this wine sometime either in your glass or in a decanter and it really shines with aromas of tar, bramble, menthol, and blackberry. The palate is tannic and chewy with some great acidity that will handle any heavy food you want to throw at it. Probably best starting in late 2012 or give it extra air and this wine is sure to please.

2007 Le Monstre $21 (Sorry Sold Out, our 2008 will be avaliable soon)
Horse Heaven Hills

*Review* Wine Advocate #190 – The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Le Monstre is a worthy successor to the outstanding 2006. The 2007 is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Malbec aged for 24 months in 50% new French oak. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it offers up an alluring bouquet of wood smoke, pencil lead, Asian spices, incense, herbs, and black currant. Dense, rich, and layered on the palate, this impeccably balanced, structured offering will benefit from another 2-3 years of bottle age to fully unwind. Drink it from 2013 to 2022, probably longer. 91 points - Jay Miller

*Winemaker Notes* Ahhh, the sweet nose opens with pie cherries, currants and hints of vanilla. This wine is a baby so it takes time and a bit of effort to get it to open up. The palate is thick and mouth filling with sweet fruits and long round tannins that leads to a long (and still) tannic finish. This wine will drink best with a few more years of cellaring or a couple of hours in a decanter.

2006 Le Monstre $21 (Sold Out)
Horse Heaven Hills
The goal of our Cabernet based blend is to create a wine that has power, finesse and in a word is a “monster”. It is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon from Alder Ridge Vineyard, 11% Cabernet Franc from Alder Ridge Vineyard and 2% Malbec from Snipes Canyon Ranch. The wine was aged for 23 months in 60% new French Oak barrels. – 210 Cases Produced

*Review* Wine Advocate #185 – The 2006 Le Monstre is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Malbec which spent 23 months in 60% new French oak. It is a bit more serious than Le Flirt with its enticing bouquet of pain grille, cinnamon, clove, violets, black cherry, and black currant. This leads to a racy, savory wine with a lively palate-feel, complex flavors, and a lengthy finish. It will evolve for 1-2 years and offer a drinking window extending from 2011 to 2018. 90 points - Jay Miller

2007 Lewis Family Vineyard Riesling (Sorry Sold out, but we will have our 2010 release avaliable in a few weeks)
Yakima Valley
All of us at the winery love Riesling so it was an easy choice when we decided to make a white wine. Our goal was to not hide the great fruit characteristics the Lewis Family Vineyard provided, so immediately after harvest we pressed the fruit and chilled the juice down for a cold slow fermentation. Once fermentation completed in late November this dry fruity wine was allowed to age for 10 months in a stainless tank. – 90 Cases Produced

*Review* 2007 Domanico Cellars, Lewis Family Vineyard, Riesling (Yakima Valley) An expansive nose of green apples, ripe Bosc pears, a core of minerality along with vibrant accents of white peach. Medium weight and rich on the palate, with crisp acidity and a generous finish. 88+ points. Roy Hersh www.ftlop.com

2007 Mesa Rojo $21 (sorry Sold Out)

Columbia Valley
*Review* Wine Advocate #190 -The 2007 Mesa Rojo is composed of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, with the balance Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. It was also aged for 24 months in 50% new French oak. Purple/black in color, it displays a brooding nose of pain grille, graphite, baking spices, herbs, black currant, and blackberry. On the palate it is structured and still tightly wound. There is plenty of material but whether it will fully harmonize remains to be seen. If it does, my score will appear conservative.  89 points - Jay Miller

*Winemaker Notes* Deep almost black color. The wine starts with a deep brooding nose of black cherry, ripe blackberries, violets and toasty spices. Across the palate there are sweet dark fruits and big round smooth tannins that linger with the oak for a long finish. Where the 06 was a fruity easy drinking wine the 07 is more serious wine that will stand on its own for many years to come.
